DANIEL J. WAITE

I HAVE SERVED AS PASTOR FOR OVER 30 YEARS, SEEING MANY SOULS SAVED AND LIVES CHANGED DURINGTHIS TIME IN MINISTRY. 

EDUCATION:

1998-2005

Trinity College and Seminary, Newburg, IN

 

  • Ph.D. in Pulpit Communications (expository preaching).  Omicron-Psi (honor society). Endorsed by the University of Liverpool.

 

1984-1986      

Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, KY

 

  • Master of Arts in Religion - Christian Education with minor in Evangelism. Studies included a concentration in curriculum theory and development.  Member of International Society of Theta Phi (honor society).  Teacher’s diploma from Evangelical Teacher Training Association.

 

1980-1984

Crown College (then St. Paul Bible College), St. Bonifacius, MN.

 

  • Bachelor of Arts in missiology, minor in Pastoral studies.

EXPERIENCE

2016-present

Pastor, Faith Alliance Church of Fuoss Mills, Tyrone, PA

 

  • We moved to Pennsylvania to care for my elderly Dad.  Attending his church, I did pulpit supply and then was called as pastor of the elderly congregation.  To serve the community, I am a volunteer hospital chaplain.

 

2001- 2016

Pastor, First Free Methodist Church of Sault Ste. Marie, Sault Ste. Marie, MI

          

  • Various community involvements.  Helped start the local ministerial association. Co-founder of the Arts and Crafts Fair during Engineer's Weekend. Volunteer soccer ref for local AYSO (FIFA trained/certified). Volunteered at the EUP Community Dispute Resolution Center as a mediator and board member. Oversaw seven building or remodeling projects, including a new parsonage. This church had bad experiences with previous pastors.

 

1994-2001      

Pastor, Barryton Community Free Methodist Church, Barryton, MI

 

  • On conference level served on Board of Administration (3 years) and chaired Commission on Outreach (3 years), chaired Evangelism Committee and Mission Committee (3 years), Conference Missions Coordinator (1 year).  *Between the school and the split the year before I arrived, the church and school needed much guidance and healing.*

 

1994-2001        

Superintendent, Barryton Community Christian School, Barryton, MI

 

  • Oversaw operation of K-12 school, using the School of Tomorrow (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum.  School staff included a principal, secretary, three supervisors, and monitors.  Led the school from no accreditation to Model school accreditation status.

 

1992-1994

Pastor, Marion Free Methodist Church, Marion, IA

 

  • Served as pastor in neighborhood church.  Duties included preaching, visitation, counseling and administration. In community served on school district’s Parent Advisory Committee helping to guide directional and curricular choices through focus groups and town meetings.

 

1989-1991      

Pastor, Deer Creek Chapel (Christian and Missionary Alliance)  Lorimor, IA

 

  • Remote country church.  Visited every home in five mile radius, began home Bible studies, spiritual warfare.

 

1987-1989      

Assistant Pastor, Orchard View Alliance Church, Janesville, WI

 

  • Duties included preaching three times a month, visitation, and leading youth group. Guided many youth to a Christian college and toward ministry.

3.) THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB OF GOD WHO ALONE PROVIDES SALVATION FOR MANKIND
4.) THE SUFFICIENT ONE FOR EVERY NEED OF BODY AND SOUL; THE ONLY HOPE FOR A WORLD OF LOST PEOPLE
5.) THE COMING KING.
